Global Transport respects your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, why we do so, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

Global Transport is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this statement. You will find our contact details at the bottom of this page.

Visiting this website

This website has no contact forms, no user accounts and no advertising, analytics or tracking tools.

When you visit the site, our web server automatically records technical data that every browser sends: your IP address, the date and time of the visit, the page requested and your browser type. We use this data only to show the website and to keep it secure, for example to detect and block abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a safe, working website. These server logs are deleted automatically after two weeks.

Fonts and images are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact third parties while you browse the site.

When you contact us

If you call us, email us or send us a WhatsApp message, we use your name, contact details and the content of your message to reply and, if you place an order, to carry it out. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or performing that contract.

We keep this correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose. Information we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, is kept for the statutory period of seven years.

WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.; messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to its own privacy policy.

Links to other websites

This website links to WhatsApp, Instagram and LinkedIn. Those services only receive data from you once you click such a link; their own privacy and cookie policies then apply.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with parties that process it on our behalf, such as our hosting provider, which runs this website on servers in the Netherlands, or when the law requires us to.

Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. This website is only available over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Send your request to info@global-transport.nl; we respond within one month.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
